Recovery of waste
Cambi's plant at Nes is the most advanced biogas plant for food waste in Europe (2015).
It receives food waste from Oslo region and produce 400 cubic of biogas for every tonne of dry waste.
This is the same energy as 240 l of diesel.
When the facility can accommodate 15 000 tonnes of dry matter with food waste a year, the energy production is significantly!
